It’s located outside the city right on the beach so it’s very quiet at night. Beautiful views from every room. Pool is very nice. Staff is friendly - some only speak Spanish so google translate was helpful! Food was very good! (Not bad but note that the restaurant closes at 7 - we went down our first night at 7:30 to find it closed so the guy at reception helped us order food as we didn’t feel like going far for dinner).

Nothing bad to say about the hotel but the beach has quite a bit of garbage on it which is very sad to see. :(

Beautiful oceanfront views for a great price.

Beautiful small resort on the beach. Balcony with ocean view. Friendly staff. It is rather far from Cartegena but if you're looking for more authentic experience in a small village, this place is perfect. Can't beat the price for an oceanfront hotel either.

The location was away from the city and relaxing. The beach was steps away. The food was good and well priced. The room was simple, but comfortable.

What was the highlight of Hotel Aria Manzanillo

Good place to wind down after five weeks of travelling.

Having read some reviews, we were not sure what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised. First impressions of the Lobby area were reassuring. We had a Junior Suite with ocean view which was very spacious. We had two hammocks on our balcony. Pool and area were well maintained. The kitchen serves a limited menu until 7:00. Food was good. We enjoyed being able to go on long walks on the beach. We forgot some medication in our room and the Hotel called our taxi to let us know-good service.

We were planning on giving higher review marks. However, our second night, we had tiny ants come up the wall, where our bed was and my husband had around 30 bites. Not nice! The next morning we told Reception and are confident they solved the issue.

Great Beach escape close to Cartagena

Overall Great Small Hotel , super profesional courteous service , most if not all rooms have Sea view , good Bed , hot water shower ,silent split air , fan , fridge , our room had Balcony 2 chairs and a Hamac , plenty of Lounge Chairs and Beds at Beach nice refreshing clean Pool ,open covered Breakfast/Dinning area ,Beer and Meal prices reasonable. Had Dinner of fish of the day great meal . Some reviews speak negatively of the poor small village area close to the Hotel whose people are very friendly we never felt threatened but Rather welcome , week days are quiet on the Beach but locals told me Beach fills up on weekends mostly families and groups of friends . I will return

We enjoyed the stay at Aria very much.

We enjoyed the stay at Aria very much. The hotel is situated directly on the beach and has great view on the sea from the rooms (clean) upstairs. The staff is very helpful, friendly and warm. The perfect place to relax away from crowds.

View of the sea.

View of the sea. Hammocks on the balcony. Breakfast. The pool. Comfy bed. Clean.

Didn’t get the room we booked- two twin beds pushed together. Noisy music at night. Beach is very dirty which is desperately sad- but sea fine to swim in. Lock on balcony door broken. No hangers in wardrobe. Water seemed to be turned off at night. No hot water but ok as its hot weather. Limited places to eat in the evening- kitchen closed at 5 and the food wasn’t fantastic in the evening.

A fairly basic but charming hotel. Take care at night.

The pool and the proximity of the beach. The sun beds were always available and the sea was only a short distance away. It felt safe in and around the hotel but the closeness of a very poor, run-down village was always at the back of your mind.

The village really is very poor as are the living conditions. This is strange because 2 miles away there is a main highway with an ultra modern garage and the beginning of a retail park with ultra modern facilities. There are a few restaurants nearby in the village and a few grocer's shops but there were also a lot of stray dogs wandering around.

Beautiful views

Best and the most friendly staff ever. They go out of their way to attend to your needs. Carlos was the best.

Booking.com advertises the hotel has the following facilities but it's not true. There was no fridge in the room nor a safety box. I do like hotels with hot showers but some hotels in Cartagena don't have them as it's hot climate. Aria hotel doesn't have hot showers.
